On this page, we will take the initial steps to get started in developing your web site.
You might want to visit this link for some examples of how photographers have employed the various Themes available for Adobe Portfolio as Theme selection is one of decisions you will need to make on this step of the process.
Note
You can choose another Theme anytime you wish so this is not a one time decision.
Open the Adobe Creative Cloud App

This is the App you use to perform periodic updates to Photoshop & Lightroom. If you are not signed into your Adobe Creative Cloud account, do using your Username & Password. Click on Web near the top of the window to view the web-based Adobe apps that are available to you.

Select the Portfolio app

Scroll down until you see the Portfolio app listed. Click on Launch.

Select Theme

Click on Full Portfolio option near the top of the page

Scroll through the Theme options until you find Matthias is displayed. Click on that theme.

Note that you can come back & change the Theme at a later date if you find one that better meets your needs/aesthetics.

When the Portfolio web builder interface appears, select the Settings option on the Essentials menu on the left.

Give your site a name

On the Domain Name tab, change the Site Subdomain to whatever you wish.

The website that Adobe Portfolio initially creates consists of two Pages... Work and Contact.
The Work Page is designated as the Home Page, i.e., the one that first appears when someone visits your website.
I don't find the term Work to be particularly fitting nor the page design to my liking. Therefore, I usually create another Page to act as the Home Page so that I can customize it. This is covered on the "Home Page" page later on.
